The set consists of two folding brackets between which you can tension five washing lines. When unfolded, the rack projects 65 cm from the wall. The brackets are 35 cm high and 31 cm wide. You can determine the distance between the brackets yourself, up to a maximum of 180 cm. Five lines measuring 200 cm each provide a total drying length of approximately 10 metres.

How does the folding wall-mounted drying rack work?

The two brackets are mounted separately on a solid wall. This allows you to adjust the width of the drying rack to suit the available space. Five washing lines are tensioned between the brackets using the supplied screw eyes.

1. Determine the required distance between the brackets, up to a maximum of 180 cm.
2. Securely mount both brackets at the same height on a suitable wall.
3. Unfold the brackets and insert the two locking pins to prevent the rack from folding unintentionally.
4. Fit the screw eyes and tension the five washing lines according to the instructions for the selected type of washing line.
5. Remove the laundry after use and fold the brackets back against the wall.

Which washing line should you use?

For this drying rack, we recommend the white stainless steel washing line. This plastic-coated wire rope can be threaded continuously through the screw eyes, allowing you to create several lines using a single continuous cable. When calculating the required length, allow for the five spans, the bends and the attachment points.

Would you prefer to use a TipTop washing line? In that case, create five separate straight lines running from one bracket to the other. Do not thread this washing line continuously through the screw eyes. This prevents the wire from being subjected to unnecessary stress at the bends. The rack is made from galvanised steel with a powder coating and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Its exact UV resistance, suitability for prolonged exposure to seawater and maximum load capacity have not been specified. The brackets are equipped with two locking pins that prevent the rack from folding unintentionally. Before hanging laundry, check that both pins have been inserted correctly. After use, the brackets can be folded back against the wall.
