Installation Instructions for the Steel Cable Wine Rack

1. First determine the position of the wine rack.
   Decide where the four vertical steel cables will run. Make sure there is a sufficiently strong mounting surface both above and below for secure installation of the rosettes.
2. Mark the lower fixing points.
   Carefully measure the positions of the four floor rosettes. Check that the left and right spacing is equal before drilling.
3. Transfer the fixing points to the ceiling.
   Preferably use a laser or plumb line. The ceiling rosettes must be positioned directly above the floor rosettes so that the steel cables run straight and vertically.
4. Install the ceiling and floor rosettes.
   Secure the rosettes firmly using screws and plugs suitable for the mounting surface. Do not mount them only into a thin ceiling panel without a sufficiently strong supporting structure behind it.
5. Install the four steel cables.
   Insert the cables into the ceiling rosettes and allow them to run downwards. Then secure them to the floor rosettes. Do not cut off any excess cable yet.
6. Tension the cables evenly.
   Tension each steel cable until it runs straight and neatly. Do not overtension the cables. Check again that all four steel cables are straight and parallel.
7. Install the first connectors.
   Start at the bottom and fit the holders/connectors to the four steel cables. Tighten them only lightly at first so that their position can still be adjusted.
8. Use one wine bottle to determine the correct position.
   Place one bottle in the system and adjust the holders until the bottle rests securely. Check the height and spacing before installing the remaining holders.
9. Install the remaining holders.
   Work from bottom to top and leave enough space between the bottles so they can be inserted and removed easily. Regularly check with a spirit level or tape measure that all components remain properly aligned.
10. Check the complete system before filling it.
    Fully tighten all fixings and connectors. Check the cable tension and carefully test each bottle position. Only then cut off any excess steel cable.
