Bracing kit 8mm cable

For bracing your garden shed or fence. With this 8mm cable, you can easily strengthen your construction. The bracing kit is a complete package to make 2 bracing cables crosswise. A wind brace, also known as a stability brace or cross brace, is made by bracing 2 cables. This strengthens your construction and prevents warping, absorbing forces from, for example, the wind.

The package contains the following components:

• 2x 10 meters 8mm galvanized steel cable
• 2x tensioning screws M10
• 12x wire clamps 8mm
• 4x screw eye 8x130
• 4x wire thimble 8mm

The package can be attached in 7 steps:

1. Place the screws 3cm from the corners where you want to brace.
2. Attach the tensioning screws to the desired corners. 1 per line.
3. Attach wire thimbles in the opposite corners. Check out this video about attaching wire thimbles
4. Unwind the tensioning screws so that 50mm of thread protrudes on both sides.
5. Make a loop around the wire thimble and secure it with the wire clamps. Check out this video about attaching wire clamps
6. Mount the cable fairly tight, then insert a screwdriver into the hole of the tensioning screw and tension your brace.
