Vine Training Kit – Stainless Steel Wire Rope Trellis System

With this complete kit, you have everything you need to train a grapevine neatly and securely along a wall, fence or other suitable structure. Using the 6 stainless steel trellis wall brackets with cross clamps, you can create three horizontal rows of 2 mm stainless steel wire rope. No separate turnbuckles are required at the intermediate guide points. The cut wire rope ends can be finished neatly with the PVC end caps.

The kit contains:

• 1x 20 metres of 2 mm stainless steel wire rope
• 20x black cable ties 16 x 4.8 mm
• 6x stainless steel trellis wall brackets with cross clamp
• 10x PVC wire rope end caps for 2 mm wire rope

Installation instructions:

• Mark the 6 mounting points for the trellis system.
• Drill 8 mm holes.
• Insert an S8 wall plug into each hole.
• Screw in the trellis wall bracket using a small adjustable spanner or a 10 mm open-ended spanner.
• Loosen the hex socket grub screw in the cross clamp and insert the 2 mm stainless steel wire rope.
• Secure the beginning and end of each wire rope to suitable screw eyes.
• Train and secure your grapevine, clematis or climbing rose along the wire ropes.

These brackets are designed as guide and fixing points for the wire rope. They do not replace a turnbuckle or wire rope tensioner for subsequently tensioning the complete wire rope system.
