Black steel cables

Black steel cables are widely used in various industries and applications. These cables are composed of high-quality galvanised steel and have a black coating that protects them from rust and corrosion. They come in different sizes, including 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm.

  1. The 3mm black steel cable is the smallest diameter in this range and is most suitable for lightweight applications such as hanging lights or decorative things. The cable has a Minimum Breaking Load of 600kg and thus a working load of 30kg. It is available in lengths of 10m, 50m, and 100m.

  2. The 4 mm black steel wire is slightly thicker and stronger than the 3 mm cable and can be used for slightly larger applications such as hanging heavier ornamental objects or as part of a tensioning frame. This cable has a Minimum Breaking Load of 1162kg and therefore a working load of 232kg and is available in lengths of 10m, 50m and 100m.

  3. The 5mm black steel cable is an even stronger choice and can be used for tasks that require higher breaking strength, such as hanging large objects or tethering some heavier structures. This cable has a Minimum Breaking Load of 1800kg and therefore a working load of 360kg and is available in the same lengths as the 3mm and 4mm cables.

  4. Finally, the thickest diameter in this series is the 6 mm black steel cable. This cable is the most durable and can be used for the most demanding purposes, such as supporting huge structures or lifting heavy weights. This cable has a Minimum Breaking Load of 2600 kg and thus a working load of 520kg and is also available in 10m and 50m lengths.

In general, the higher the breaking load, the thicker the cable. To ensure that the cable is safe and reliable, it is crucial to choose the right diameter and length for the purpose.
